Nearly three years after separating from her husband, Michael Darby, Ashley Darby has a sweet update on her love life.
During an appearance on the January 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the mom of two revealed that she’s still going out with Josh Gudenburr, who she met at a speed dating event featured on Season 9, Episode 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
“We’re hanging out,” Ashley told host Andy Cohen on the episode about where she stands with Josh today. “He may have set me off this morning with a [big smile]. Yeah, he’s a good guy.”
Andy then asked if the two are monogamous.
“Yes, actually, but we don’t have labels at the moment,” she said before clarifying, “We are only banging each other.”
Are Ashley Darby and Michael Darby divorced?
After announcing their separation in March 2022, Ashley and Michael are still not legally divorced yet. However, Ashley confirmed on WWHL that the two have made some strides in settling their split. “It’s in the hands of Virginia state, so I’m done,” she explained.
In November 2024, Ashley confirmed that she had officially filed for divorce from the Aussie in an email statement to The Daily Dish.
“Signing divorce papers is bittersweet. My friend put it this way: leaving a marriage is like leaving a house you’ve created memories in for years,” Ashley shared with us. “Just before you close the door for the last time, you think back on all the incredible things you created together like your children and lasting memories, and then you just have to close the door and move on.”
She continued, “Even though I’ve been separated for 2 years, there’s always been a feeling that I’m still attached in a way. Now, that’s officially ending and I have the freedom to do life my own way, and I’m very excited to see what that looks like.”

As time has gone on, Ashley said that her relationship with Michael has improved. The exes are now successfully co-parenting their two young sons, Dean Michael Darby and Dylan Matthew Darby. As she put it, “We went from parallel parenting to co-parenting, so we’re good. We’re better.”
Ashley also said that her sons haven’t fully grasped what their parents’ split means.
“Dean actually asked me the other day, ‘Why don’t you and daddy live together?’” Ashley said on WWHL about her eldest, who is four. “So, as far as they know we just don’t live under the same roof. That’s it.” reveals what she’s heard about Michael Darby’s dating life
The GnA co-founder has moved on with Josh (though the romance remains label-less), and she’s heard that her ex has done the same.
“Oh, Michael’s in the streets every weekend,” Ashley said on WWHL. “Oh my goodness, yes, people tell me all the time. Which, I’m happy, go live your life, have a good time, but I hear all about it.”
