Jenelle Evans was first featured in MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant’ back in 2009 and she immediately became one of the most famous cast members of the show.

Her early years were seemingly problematic, to say the least, as she and her mother Barbara Evans couldn’t really get along well.

The situation became even harder when Jenelle gave birth to her son Jace. As years went by, Jenelle progressed from ’16 & Pregnant’ to MTV’s ‘Teen Mom 2’ where she spent several years filming.

Jenelle’s son was placed in her mother Barbara’s custody temporarily but it seems like that didn’t work out due to Jace running away again.

He was reportedly in CPS custody until further notice. It seems like the trigger for Jace’s latest runaway was Barbara taking away his phone due to him ‘vaping’ in school.

Fans were saddened by the news that Jace ended up in CPS care but remain hopeful for the future.

“I can’t imagine him handling being in foster care very well. If he’s acting out and running away from his mom’s AND his grandma’s, I’d say his behavior will be similar or worse at a stranger’s home,” one fan commented.

Update: Jenelle seems to have Jace’s custody now.
