If you grew up watching Home and Away in the ’00s, you’ll remember a few important things: captivating storylines like the Summer Bay stalker, icons like Bec Cartwright and Tammin Sursok releasing music, confusing storylines around psychic twins, and of course, Summer Bay High. The school was a HUGE part of Home and Away, whether it revolved around Sally’s teaching, principal Donald Fisher, or all the teens and their entangled love webs.
If you’re watching Home and Away in 2024, you may have noticed the school hasn’t appeared for years. In fact, it’s quietly gone without a word. Teens no longer exist in Summer Bay, or if they do, apparently they don’t have to go to school anymore. Long gone are the iconic uniforms, school stabbings, and random teen drama.
