Amber Portwood has missed many of her daughter’s most significant days – often simply because she didn’t show up.

But for her daughter Leah Shirley’s 16th birthday, Amber didn’t come because she wasn’t invited.

Needless to say, this left Amber emotional.

She opened up about the incident on the latest episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

“I haven’t slept for two days. I haven’t eaten for two days,” a clearly distressed Amber told her brother Shawn on the episode.

“This sh*t sucks that my daughter’s turning 16 and she don’t want to see me.”

“She already made it known that she doesn’t want me in her life,” Amber told her brother.

Amber told Shawn she was still putting the effort in to celebrate Leah’s 16th.

“I got her presents anyway, and I’m going to write her a card today,” she said.
