Congratulations: Kyle Richards of #RHOBH proposed to Morgan Wade on the night of 2/20/2025
Kyle Richards saw her friend, country musician Morgan Wade, perform live on February 18 — and there was one particularly special moment during the concert.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member initially discussed Morgan’s show — which took place at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles as part the singer’s ongoing headline tour — in an Amazon Live on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The mom of four started out by sharing that she had previously seen Morgan play an “amazing” show in Nashville on Feb. 7, so she was extra excited for the then-upcoming gig in LA. What’s more, Kyle was looking forward to the “distraction,” as she’s been going through a lot over the past month, from Mauricio Umansky’s recent skiing accident in Aspen to her friend Teddi Mellencamp’s brain tumor diagnosis.
As Kyle put it during the livestream, “Morgan Wade is playing in LA tonight at the El Rey Theatre. We are getting a group together to go out and have some fun. I think we need a little distraction right now, so I’m looking forward to that.”
Kyle later took to her Instagram Story in the evening where she gave a brief look into her night out. She first posted a photo of the marquee outside of the theater, with Morgan’s name in lights, set to one of Kyle’s favorite Morgan songs, “Wilder Days.”
Once she was inside of the concert, she captured Morgan playing the song, “Take Me Away” while she watched from the balcony.

During the show, Morgan also gave Teddi a very special shoutout. Kyle, who had moved closer to the stage, was on hand to capture this emotional moment, as Morgan led the concert attendees in a prayer for her friend, who she had visited in the hospital with Kyle on the day of her operation.
“We’re really blessed to have a bunch of people here with me tonight, but if you don’t mind tonight, when you leave here, say a prayer for my good friend, Teddi Mellencamp,” Morgan said on stage, between songs. “I went to visit her a little bit ago, I’m guessing it’s about a week ago, she went in and had to have emergency surgery on her brain to remove some tumors. So, she would be here tonight.”

Kyle also shared a message for Teddi earlier in the day during her livestream. “I really do believe in the power of prayer. Please keep her in your prayers,” she began. “I will let Teddi speak to her situation when she’s able to, but there’s been so many messages of love and support and people saying they’re praying for her, and we’re telling her that and sharing that information with her.”
