Home and Away has confirmed a surprising new love interest for Mali Hudson, as he realises he may have feelings for Abigail Fowler.
Upcoming scenes on the soap see Mali lend a shoulder amid a crisis for Abigail, as Mackenzie Booth deduces that he may have a crush.
In the storyline that airs next Wednesday (February 5) and Thursday (February 6), Abigail is in a bad way after being dropped by her counsellor Tim.

Mali finds her in tears and lends his support. He then checks up on Abigail the next day to see what she plans to do about counselling.
Abigail admits she doesn’t know, though she tells Mali that she doesn’t want support from her brother Levi. Mali later tells her that her brother may just be trying to look out for her, so Abigail decides to join Levi for lunch.
Mackenzie picks up on how Mali has been supporting Abigail, and tells him that she suspects he has a crush. Mali denies this and insists that there isn’t anything to discuss.

Nevertheless, later on he realises that he may have deeper feelings for Abigail, something he hadn’t even realised until Mackenzie mentioned it.
After chatting with Mackenzie, Mali agrees that pursuing anything is a bad idea, especially as Abigail is in recovery from her drug addiction, and he is also her boss. Mackenzie tells Mali he is a good person.
However, will things remain platonic now that his true feelings are out there?
