Home and Away legend Alf Stewart is abandoned by Bree Cameron as his life hangs in the balance on UK screens next week.
The Summer Bay favourite faces a dangerous delay to his treatment as Bree continues to behave strangely at work.
The drama begins when Alf experiences agonising chest pains outside the Surf Club.
Fortunately, Perri Hayes, Tane Parata and Harper Matheson are all nearby and they rush in to help him.

As Alf collapses, the trio of terrified onlookers spring into action by giving him the help he needs and calling an ambulance.
Once Alf arrives at Northern Districts, Levi Fowler initially tries to help but Bree sends him away and insists on dealing with this case herself.
Bree’s involvement couldn’t come at a worse time for Alf, as she hasn’t been her usual self at work since Felicity Newman’s tragic death.
Feeling somehow responsible for being unable to save Felicity, a traumatised Bree has become obsessed with carefully checking every minor detail around the hospital.

This situation manifests itself again when Alf suffers a nosebleed and his vitals go on high alert.
Alf’s long-time friend Marilyn Chambers begs for the hospital team to do something, but Bree freezes in the moment and refuses to administer the treatment that he urgently needs.
As Bree clutches a needle, she refuses to inject it because she wants to verify that she has the exact amount needed.
Bree rushes off to make the check, forcing her colleagues to step in and stabilise Alf themselves.

Marilyn is furious over Bree’s behaviour, certain that it wasn’t part of usual hospital protocol.
Levi, who witnessed the incident, desperately tries to talk to Bree about what happened but is disappointed as she seems lost in her own world.
