A sleuthing fan has spotted 2025 Home and Away scenes being filmed and there’s good news for Tane fans.
If you ever need someone sufficiently stalked, those Home and Away fans will have you covered. The cheeky unpaid detectives have been hard at work lurking around Sydney’s Palm Beach, and one person has temporarily solved the mystery of whether Ethan Browne, who plays Tane Parata is leaving the Bay after rumours that his contract may be up.
Palm Beach in Sydney’s Northern Beaches is obviously iconic due to its association as Summer Bay, and fans often rock up to take a peek on filming days to see if they can spot or meet the stars. One lucky fan saw a few scenes being acted out earlier this week, with the show known to film at least 5-6 months in advance, meaning whatever was playing out we’ll be seeing on our screens at some stage in 2025.
Recently rumours have been flying that some characters may not be back for 2025: From Xander and Rose, to Tane and Harper, everyone’s a little unsure who’s going to stick in Summer Bay for the next 12 months.
But in good news it looks like we’ll have Tane lurking around for a little while longer, with a fan confirming they saw him filming scenes.

Uploaded in a popular Facebook group, it was confirmed Tane was there in the flesh, while Mackenzie (Emily Weir) and Levi (Tristan Gorey) were also spotted in what seemed to be a heated discussion by the diner. I know what you’re thinking… Mac and Levi arguing? That’s so out of character!
It also appears some new River Boys will be arriving in town (to probably further torment Cash), and Abigail (Hailey Pinto), Eden (Stephanie Panazzo) and Dana (Ally Harris) were also spotted filming.
“Cash was punched by a River Boy. Rory or Dingo weren’t spotted they looked like new River Boys!” the fan confirmed. “Eden made an appearance early in the day. Tane and Dana were just walking the beach doing a scene.”
Are Cash and Eden getting back together?
With Eden looking set to move on with her sister’s psychologist during this week’s episodes of Home and Away, what does that mean for 2024 #Caden?
If you’re not a regular watcher here’s the breakdown: Cash and Eden were engaged, but then Cash’s sister and Eden’s best friend Felicity carked it, causing Cash to break it off with Eden because everyone he loves dies. And now he’s just being rude and mean to her in her attempts to win him back, and this week it looks like Eden gives up because she’s spotted kissing Tim, her recovering drug addict sister’s psychologist. Healthy!
But things could be back on for #Caden next year…
“Rumour is that someone saw them filming holding hands a few weeks ago, but there is no photo to confirm it,” an admin said in the Home and Away fan Facebook page.
