Fans may not know that the famous actor is married to fellow TV star, Anne Tenney.

During A Country Practice’s golden years, millions of Aussies would tune in every week to watch the love story between Molly, played by Anne, and Brendan Jones, played by Shane, unfold.

But devoted fans had no idea that off-camera, Anne and Shane had also fallen head over heels in love with each other.

The pair kept their romance a secret for many years to avoid their relationship being splashed across magazines and newspapers.

Instead, they decided to not speak about their relationship and still to this day they prefer to keep things private.

The couple shares one child together, a daughter named Madeleine. Their daughter has actually starred alongside her father on Home and Away.

She appeared in the soap in 2015, playing the role of Monica, Chris Harrington’s date.

There are plant pots and an array of wicker and foldable chairs to make sure there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunny weather.
