Home and Away’s Jake Ryan announces good news to fans for the second time, colleagues join in to congratulate
Former Home and Away star Jake Ryan has shared a sweet snap of his baby son Wolf with his Instagram followers.

Ryan and his partner Alice Quiddington welcomed their first child on October 6, 2019.
In the adorable photo, Jake can be seen staring at his four-month-old baby boy, as Wolf pulls a surprised face.
“Dad, I told you I eat biscuits with espresso for my breakfast,” Jake captioned the snap in Italian.
“I’m loving it,” Jake told Sydney Confidential about life as a new dad.
“We’re pretty blessed!” the 36-year-old said.
“He’s chatty and cheeky, I’m loving it. He’s such a good little boy. He sleeps so well and eats well, always happy!”
Announcing his son’s birth back in October, Jake wrote on Instagram: “IN THIS LIFE!!! ‘Be still, my beating heart‘ WOLF RYAN….mind blowing experience… Alice was phenomenal and recovering well. Superwomen! A big thank you to all the nurses, doctors, midwives and support staff at Randwick women’s hospital. Amazing, amazing team of humans that brought our little mate into the world.”
While Alice shared the same picture captioning it, “We finally welcomed our little man into the world. Wolf William Ryan. One of the most intense but incredible experiences of my life. So much new found respect for this body and what it has done and continues to do. Jake is already super dad status and was the most amazing support to me throughout the whole pregnancy and birth, I couldn’t have done it without him. We’re just taking some time to rest and enjoy our little love bubble and new family member. Can’t wait for Wolf to meet all his favourite uncles & aunties soon xx.”
A number of friends and fans sent their well-wishes to Jake, including Dan MacPherson.
“Congratulations you guys,” he wrote.
Laura Csortan added: “Congratulations!”
While Penny McNamee said: “Ahhhhh Jakey!!! He’s here! Congratulations friend, I’m so so thrilled for you. Hold on for the ride of your life! Love to you THREE! Xxx”
Speaking about the pending birth to New Idea in August, Jake opened up about what sort of dad he hopes to be.
“You always hope that you’ll be the best caring and supporting dad that you can,” he said. “We’ll be doing everything to make that happen. But, as long as everyone is happy and healthy, that’s all you can really ask for.”
Asked whether he would love his child to one day follow in his dramatic footsteps, Jake doesn’t hesitate to respond.
“Oh God, no!” he laughingly exclaims. “I wouldn’t let him near acting! Let him go to university or get a trade!
“But I was really lucky that my parents were supportive of whatever I did, and I changed my career path quite a few times before I found acting. If your kid has a passion for something, you just have to nurture that passion and give them all the tools possible.”
