Kyle Richards Makes a Bold Declaration About Dorit & Mauricio Amid the Drama with PK
Kyle Richards’ texting relationship with Paul “PK” Kemsley has been under fire on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, but would the diamond holder have been upset if her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, had been texting Dorit Kemsley?
She answered this question on the February 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen while reacting to Dorit saying that Kyle would not have been happy if she found out that Dorit had been texting Mauricio.
“No, I don’t agree with that,” Kyle said. “I don’t agree with that, no.”
As far as Kyle knows, however, Dorit and Mauricio are not in touch at all. What’s more, she later said “no” when asked if it would “bother” her if they had maintained a friendship.
Kyle Richards clarifies her texts to PK Kemsley
After reading out her post-separation text to PK at Bozoma Saint John’s home spa event, Kyle admitted on WWHL that she does understand why the ladies had some questions about the nature of the message.
“I can see where it would seem suspicious,” Kyle admitted, specifically referencing the portion of the message where she said she would not repeat anything that PK had told her. “I was having a hard time explaining on camera that here we just started shooting the season, so when you do what we do, people get scared to talk and say things, especially when the cameras have just come up.”
She also wanted to clarify that she texted both Dorit and PK after they announced their split in May 2024.
“That text that I read, everyone was like, ‘Kyle said that they were only sending memes.’ I told everybody from the very beginning that I sent PK a text and Dorit when they announced their separation. No one seems to mention that I sent Dorit a text as well,” Kyle explained on WWHL. “That was both of them got a text from me, which I thought was a nice thing to do as a friend. I thought I was being a good friend.”

Kyle agreed to stop communicating with PK on the show, and the two are not in touch today.
On WWHL, Kyle also confirmed that PK has not texted her to chat about anything from Season 14.
“No, I think he is too afraid to have a problem,” she joked when asked if she had heard from him recently.

Though Kyle and Dorit have not found common ground yet, their estranged husbands are still very tight.
“They are best friends,” Kyle said on WWHL about Mauricio’s friendship with PK. “Yeah, I would say they are best, best friends.”
