The ‘Teen Mom: Next Chapter’ star Leah Messer recently split from her boyfriend of 1 year Jaylan Mobley. They went public with their relationship back in 2021 and had a seemingly amazing year together.

“So many of you have watched our love story unfold, and we hope that you’ll continue to watch our stories while we move forward as friends,” Leah & Jaylan said in a joint statement on social media.

Adding that, “We will forever have love and respect for each other, and we ask for privacy as we refocus and transition out of this chapter together.”

Leah comments on breakup

Leah & Jaylan both remained mostly silent about the reason why they broke up in the first place. There’s been a lot of ‘cryptic’ posts on both sides but neither revealed the true nature of their breakup.

In a tweet, Leah said that fans shouldn’t be focusing on the reason for the breakup but instead on positivity.

As for the reason itself, there have been rumors that Jaylan might’ve cheated on Leah but nothing has been confirmed.

In a recent interview at the ‘Teen Mom’ reunion, Leah stated that Jaylan might’ve been under ‘societal pressure’ to appear and act a certain type of way.

While she was ‘beating around the bush’, it’s almost certain this contributed to ending their relationship.
