#RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp in pain with terminal cancer battle
As she continues to battle Stage 4 skin cancer, Teddi Mellencamp is having difficult conversations with her dad John Cougar Mellencamp.
On the April 9 episode of her and Tamra Judge’s podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, Teddi shared that her musician father recently called her numerous times in a row. “Yesterday my dad calls 11 times in a row. Finally, I answer, I’m like, ‘I’m in the bath. Let me live a little. Like let me enjoy,'” she recalled. “He goes, ‘I just want to make sure you’re going to be in our group family mausoleum.'”
Teddi responded by asking if there would be room for anyone in her nuclear family (she shares daughters Slate and Dove Arroyave and son Cruz Arroyave with estranged husband Edwin Arroyave).
“He’s like, ‘Well there’s gonna be the top five, and then we’re gonna have little areas around it and then that’s where everyone’s gonna get buried,’” she continued, noting that he said it would be a good time to figure it out. “He goes, ‘Well you’re doing your will right now, so you may as well put it in there.'”
Teddi said that she agreed to be buried in the mausoleum, which is located in John’s home state of Indiana.
She joked that she’d be adding the message, “Hot girls never die” to her tombstone.
Who are Teddi Mellencamp’s parents?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is the daughter of John Cougar Mellencamp and Victoria Granucci.
Victoria raised Teddi and her brother, Justice Mellencamp, in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Through her dad, Teddi has three other half-siblings: Hud Mellencamp, Speck Mellencamp, and Michelle Mellencamp.
What kind of cancer does Tedid Mellencamp have?
The mom of three was first diagnosed with melanoma (aka skin cancer) in 2022. Since then, Teddi has been very open on social media about the spots she’s had removed, and about the importance of doing regular skin checks and check-ups.
In February 2025, Teddi took to her Instagram feed to share that she was about to undergo surgery to remove several tumors from her brain, as her melanoma had metastasized.
She later shared that doctors were unable to remove all of the tumors from her brain, and that her cancer had also spread to her lungs. She is treating her Stage 4 melanoma with radiation and immunotherapy.
