Dorit Kemsley Reveals Big News About Her Family: "Appreciate the Blessings" (EXCLUSIVE) | Bravo

As Dorit Kemsley navigates her marital split from Paul “PK” Kemsley, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member recently experienced another big change in her family.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on Bravo.

While speaking with The Daily Dish about her partnership with Rao’s Homemade and her Passover plans, Dorit revealed that her sister, Debbie, who previously lived nearby, recently moved.

“I don’t have any family in California, which is unfortunate,” Dorit said. “My sister was here for a couple of years, but they moved in the summer.”

While celebrating Rosh Hashanah in 2022, Dorit revealed that Debbie had moved close to her.  “So blessed to have my sister and her family living close by now,” Dorit captioned an Instagram video at the time. “L’Shana Tova.”

In a separate Instagram Story photo at the time, Dorit showed her kids, Phoenix, Jagger, and “two of [her sister’s] three children” smiling at their holiday dinner table. “Love that these munchkins get to grow up with one another,” Dorit wrote. “I grew up with a lot of cousins around me and it was amazing.”

Dorit Kemsley opens up about her Passover traditions with family

In her recent interview with The Daily Dish, Dorit opened up about her Passover plans this year.

“I’ve got a few really important things I need to get through before Passover, and then I can kind of focus on that,” she said. “But what would be nice is maybe either have my parents [who live in Florida] fly here or we fly there.”

Dorit added that growing up, her family would have “like 50,60 people every year” for Passover, prompting her to want to keep the tradition alive.

“Having a Passover that’s small, or just me and the kids, is not my idea of what Passover should be,” she continued. “Everything is just reminiscent of what our ancestors went through thousands of years ago and there are traditions that I certainly was raised with keeping.”

Dorit concluded: “Mostly I think that these holidays [are] wonderful for Jews to remember what our people have gone through and to keep up the tradition.  But also [it’s] just great to spend time with family and friends and appreciate the blessings that we have in life.”

Dorit Kemsley talks reliving her and PK Kemsley’s marital issues

As Dorit and PK remain separated at this time, she recently spoke with Interview magazine about how life in the public eye has affected their relationship.

Dorit shared that while she and her estranged husband were “very amicable and friendly” after their split, that all changed once RHOBH Season 14 began to air.

“It’s actually caused a lot of issues,” she said. “When the show first aired, we’d filmed seven, eight months before that, so it’s really difficult when you’re in the present moment to think where you were eight months ago, right? That’s the difficulty about filming the show and then watching it.”

Dorit added that PK was convinced “he’d have more [viewer] support” as Season 14 rolled out, but when that didn’t happen, they experienced “a lot of issues and friction.”

“That’s unfortunate because I’ve really tried hard to say, ‘PK, let’s stay in the present moment,'” she said. “Because regardless of work, regardless of whether we end up getting divorced or whether we reconcile, it’s incredibly important that we have peace and a relationship, because we have two children and there’s no reason in the world for us not to.”

Find out what PK had to say about his split from Dorit and how the pair recently reunited for their son, Jagger.
