RHONY’s Ubah Hassan Reveals Her Plans to Welcome a Baby with Boyfriend Oliver: ‘It Just Feels Right’

Ubah Hassan wants to add a little one to her family!
During the season 15 premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City, Hassan, 41, shared that she’s been thinking about having a baby with her boyfriend, Oliver Dachsel, in a conversation at lunch with costars Erin Lichy, 37, and Rebecca Minkoff, 43.
“I’m not young, so I was really nervous if he wants to have kids,” Hassan says of her boyfriend.
“Did he say he wants kids?” Lichy asks.
“I think I’m going to start trying in November, December,” Hassan responds. “If it works, great. If it doesn’t, we’re dumped.”

In a confessional, Hassan explains that she didn’t really think about having a baby until she met her boyfriend, but adds that she’s now open to the idea.
“I never thought I wanted to have a baby,” Hassan says in a confessional. “I’m a little spoiled when it comes to my sleep, when it comes to doing what I want to do, travel to Paris just to have dessert.”
“But when I’m talking to Oliver at dinner time with a little candlelight, I’m like, ‘Yes, let’s do it,’ ” she continues. “I don’t know, it just felt right. You’re good-looking, I’m good-looking. Let’s see if we can produce something.”
The scene switches back to the restaurant, where Hassan explains that she’s going to start preparing for having a baby.
“I’m going to get in shape. I’m gonna eat well,” Hassan says. “You do have really good genes,” Lichy responds.
“Hey, you guys are talking. Look at you,” Hassan says. “Let me have a baby first and see how things are going to drop.”
Throughout season 14 of the show, Hassan doesn’t reveal the name of her boyfriend, instead opting to call him “Mr. Connecticut.” The relationship took a dramatic turn when some of Hassan’s costars spread the word of her romance on camera after she asked them to not talk about it.
“He is very private because of his work,” Hassan explained in part 1 of the RHONY season 14 reunion as to why she was so secretive about Dachsel.
She confirmed the two were still dating, and a few days after the episode aired, Hassan stepped out with Dachsel publicly for the first time at the 2023 American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala at Lincoln Center in N.Y.C.
