he ex-husband of former “Real Housewives of New York” star Sonja Morgan has died. On February 7, Morgan’s daughter, Quincy, addressed the news.

“As an obituary was published yesterday, I want to take the opportunity to tell you all myself that my father passed away this month,” Quincy wrote on her Instagram Stories.

“My family is navigating this together. I very much loved and admired my dad. I am so grateful for the love and care I have been shown in these past weeks,” she continued.

Sonja Morgan was married to John Morgan from 1998 through 2006.


An Obituary for John Adams Morgan Was Printed Online

According to Us Weekly, John Adams Morgan died in early February at the age of 94. An obituary printed online mentions Morgan’s wife, Connie Morgan, but no other family members by name.

“John’s unwavering dedication to the Morgan’s mission to celebrate and share the history and process of human creativity will not be forgotten. We extend our deepest sympathies to Connie Morgan and all the members of the Morgan family,” it reads, in part.

Per Us Weekly, John Adams Morgan had been married five times and has two older sons from two of his previous relationships. He married Connie Morgan in 2010.

Fans reacted to the obit and the news of John Adams Morgan’s death on a Reddit.

“Sonja is probably distraught right now. She never got over their marriage,” one person wrote.

“Wow, he was 94! I knew there was an age difference but somehow didn’t wrap my mind around it until now. It’s nothing new to me, my grandfather was also 32 years older than my grandmother. Losing a parent is the worst, so my heart hurts for Quincy,” someone else added.

“Sending love & healing heart prayers to beautiful Quincy,” a third comment read.


Quincy Morgan Took Some Time Off Work Following the Death of Her Father

In her February 7 message, Quincy shared that she took some time off to grieve the loss of her dad.

“I took a break from work to navigate this loss,” Quincy Morgan wrote on her Instagram Stories. She also shared an email address for people looking for additional information or comment on the matter.

“My amazing manager has done her best to move campaigns and manage everything so that I could be present with my family,” she added.

At the time of this writing, Sonja Morgan had not commented on the death of her ex-husband.
