Shocking: Former Home And Away actress Madeleine Jevic announces divorce, fans heartbroken
An actress who appeared on Home And Away looked unrecognisable as she made her Married At First Sight debut.
Madeleine Jevic, 30, was one of the ‘intruder couples’ who got married in an episode that aired last night – but she failed to mention her soap history.
Instead she told new husband Ash Galati, 33, that she is a psychic medium.
She previously went by the name Madeleine Maxwell and appeared on the huge Australian soap from 2020- 2021 playing Amber Simmons.
At the time she had a short red bob – looking very different to her appearance as she walked down the aisle.
Her character arrived on the show as John Palmer’s (Shane Withington) carer – but it soon became apparent that wasn’t the only thing she wanted.
She also wanted to see her ex-boyfriend Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) – who she shares son, Jai Simmons, with.
Her arrival caused serious problems for Dean who was dating Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) at the time – making her a memorable character for viewers.
Not surprisingly people clocked who she was in the episode, with one person remarking: “#MAFSAU So Madeline is an ex Home and Away & Wentworth actress ? Here to find true love or book her next acting job ? Oops, she already has …”

While a second said: “Good luck to Madeline.. she was a good actress on #HomeandAway I hope she finds what she’s looking for..”
And a third added: “So Mad Madeline was actually in Home And Away. She just doesn’t seem genuine. Smells fishy.”
The star has also appeared in Wentworth Prison, Upper Middle Bogan and The inBESTigators.
Madeleine raised eyebrows during her wedding after she decided to improvise her marriage vows.
She said: “Well, I’m Madeline. I’m annoying. I am, I’m annoying because I love people deeply and I’m annoying because I’m super kind.
“When I love people deeply, I expect love in return so I hope that you can love me for who I am and my strange little weird quirks – I have a lot.”
