Shocking News: Britani Bateman and Jared Osmond officially announce their separation
ritani Bateman and Jared Osmond are officially boyfriend and girlfriend! The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City friend and her relationship with Jared has been put under a microscope by her RHOSLC cast members during Season 5 (more on that later). Although Jared had been shy about defining the relationship during the season, the couple finally sealed the deal, with Jared making a very special announcement over the weekend.
Jared took to his Instagram account on Sunday, Dec. 23, where he posted a Reel filled with solo shots of Britani, posing it up for the camera. Halfway through the Reel, Jared joined Britani as they posed for the camera and served some serious faces. “When an angel comes into your life that brings you happiness, peace, and love you hold on with both hands,” he wrote over the video. “Introducing my girlfriend, Britani Bateman.”
He then took to the caption of the post, where he confirmed that they are, in fact, dating. “Yes, life is good with Britani by my side.”
“I’m so happy and so in love with you, baby,” Britani wrote in the comments of the post.
“I love you more than words can express,” Jared wrote in reply.
Britani also took to her own Instagram Story where she reposted a photo of them together and added her own commentary. “This man,” she wrote. “He’s my everything to me. My best friend. My boyfriend.”
Who is Jared Osmond?
Jared is a musician, who happens to be the nephew of singers and Utah icons, Donny and Marie Osmond. In a November interview with E! News, Jared’s uncle, Donny, shared his thoughts on the show. “I haven’t watched it, but good for him,” he said. There’s a lot of Osmonds,” he added, noting that “the whole state of Utah” comes together for their family reunions.
RHOSLC cast member, Heather Gay, once stated that dating an Osmond is like dating Salt Lake City royalty. “Which, in mormon culture is the equivalent of dating Prince Harry,” she explained during the Season 5 premiere.
Britani Bateman says she’s broken up with Jared Osmond at least “16 times”
Jared is now officially Britani’s boyfriend, but they have dated on and off over the past year. Britani detailed the ups and downs of their relationship during the RHOSLC Season 5 premiere. “Jared and I have been dating eight months, and we’ve broken up 16 times, I want to say,” she said in a confessional during the episode. “A lot.”
“I feel like I’m on this hamster wheel of dating other people, breaking up, and getting back together,” she continued. “It’s like, ‘Ugh, I’m a crazy person,’ but there’s just something about him. Mmm, he’s yummy.”
