The Real Housewives of Potomac reached episode 3 of season 9 on October 20, 2024. The episode documented some of its ladies’ lives with their partners. Mia and Inc went to a staycation to spend some alone time, while Keiarna moved to her boyfriend’s house. Additionally, Stacey welcomed her close friend TJ, who came to town to see her.
When the cast members met for a day meal at a restaurant, Stacey shared that she still hadn’t moved on from her divorce. The other ladies were concerned and asked if she was sad about her divorce instead of feeling free. Stacey said she would never be happy about her divorce.
At this point, Ashley interjected and divulged something Stacey had told her during one of their private conversations. She said that Stacey had already had a man. While this surprised the other ladies, Stacey didn’t take it well. She reprimanded Ashley for spilling tea that she had given her in confidence, while Ashley denied knowing it was confidential.

“It amazes me how Ashley still has no self-awareness. I’m glad Stacey called her out on it because that was completely uncalled for and unnecessary,” said another.
“Ashley can’t hold water!! I need ppl to stop calling Ashley “friend” & trusting her. I said it last week that Ashley would spill Stacey’s tea immediately,” a third one added.

Meanwhile, some of The Real Housewives of Potomac fans applauded Stacey for not holding it and giving it back to Ashley.
“I get what Stacey is saying. She wanted to reveal her own business herself, and she did not need help from Ashley breaking it. That’s not a hard concept for Ashley to grasp, and she understands that. She just doesn’t care that Stacey feels some type of way,” wrote one.
“Stacey, this is who Ashley is…good for you, call her out early and don’t tell her nothing personal, ever,” another wrote.

What happened at the ladies’ meet on The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 3?
In episode 3 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Stacey, the new addition to the cast, shared details about her life with the group. She mentioned that she has an 8-year-old daughter and is currently in the middle of a divorce. Gizelle then asked her if she was looking forward to it because she was happy when she was getting divorced.
To this, Stacey said, she would never be happy about the divorce. At that moment, Ashely sprung up and revealed Stacey had a man. To which Gizelle said, “Oh you moved on.” Stacey said she spent multiple days with Ashley at her place discussing her marriage and her relationships, and it only took “charcuterie and drinks” for the latter to spill her business to everyone.
Ashley defended herself rhetorically, asking if it was a secret. Stacey said she was afraid of her daughter’s mental health and things like her dating casually being talked about at the table. This made Ashley take to The Real Housewives of Potomac confessional to say that if TJ, the guy in question, was just a friend, why was Stacey being defensive?
